My Daughter - Theatre Critic

Last night my daughter went to see The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time in York.


I am going to see the same production tonight and so when we picked her up I asked:

 "So how was it?"

"The first half was boring, the theatre was boiling and there was a puppy.  You'll love it."

Marvellous.........
(at least I know to wear layers).

    It was good, tHe staging was like nothing I have ever seen. Really different, incorporating a lot of almost dance movement. I could see how she found the first half a bit boring, it is in the nature of the main character to be repetitive, so I got that, even though I enjoyed it. The puppy was super cute. When I reflect on it I really enjoyed it especially the innovative staging. I wish I'd taken a photo of the stage because it was so very different. And it was hot!
